CT Lottery Asks, "What Would You Do with $12.3 Million?"What would you do with $12.3 million? Now at its highest mark in over a decade, Friday's estimated $12.3 Lotto jackpot, with a cash lump sum option of $10 million, gives players a chance to ponder that question. The odds of winning couldn't be better, and we expect a Connecticut winner.
"For just $1 per play, Connecticut's Lotto jackpot game gives players the best chance at the $12.3 million prize," said Greg Smith, CT Lottery's President and CEO. "We are looking forward to celebrating the winner of this life-changing jackpot."
Playing Lotto is easy. Stop by any CT Lottery retailer and ask for a Lotto "Quick Pick" to let the computer randomly pick your numbers, or fill in a play slip to select your own numbers. The Lotto jackpot is won by matching all six winning numbers drawn.
Since the current Lotto jackpot run started on January 5, 2018, sales have generated more than $8.5 million in General Fund contributions. The last time the Lotto jackpot exceeded $12.3 million was on August 20, 1999 when it was $12.5 million.
Lotto drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10:38pm and televised on WCCT TV. On drawing nights, wagering is closed at 10:20pm and reopened at 10:46pm.
