CT Lottery Notifies Public of Temporary Pause of Sale of $5 12th Edition of “5X The Money” Scratch Ticket (#1495), Issue Now ResolvedThe CT Lottery is notifying the public that earlier today, it temporarily stopped the cashing and sale of the $5 12th Edition of the “5X The Money” scratch ticket (Game #1495), which debuted today. An issue with the ticket vendor caused winning tickets to scan in the validation system as a non-winning ticket. The vendor has since resolved the issue.
Upon discovering the problem, which affected a small number of ticket packs, the CT Lottery promptly instructed its retailers to remove the tickets from their dispensers and lottery vending machines. The CT Lottery worked with its vendor to correct it quickly.
