CT's Lotto! Creates a $1,000,000 Jackpot-Winning Prize Match on Feb. 23

In a matter of just seven days, CT's Lotto! game created its second jackpot winner of the year. Of the 4,975 winning tickets sold for the Tuesday, February 23, 2021 drawing, one Lotto! ticket matched the winning numbers 1 - 9 - 19 - 24 - 25 - 34, worth $1,000,000 (a lump-sum value of $883,160). The winning ticket was sold at Stop & Shop #620 in Trumbull.

A week before, a $5.4 million (a lump-sum value of $4,776,772) Lotto! jackpot ticket for the Tuesday, February 16 drawing was sold at Terryville Mobil in Terryville. The winning Lotto! numbers drawn on that night were 2 - 10 - 14 - 20 - 22 - 29.

The CT Lottery looks forward to meeting both jackpot winners when they step forward to claim their prizes. For their part in selling the winning tickets, both retailers will each receive a $10,000 retailer commission.

The Lotto jackpot is won by matching all six winning numbers drawn. A Lotto ticket costs $1 and players select six numbers between 1 and 44, or they can ask for a Lotto "Quick Pick" to let the computer randomly pick their numbers. The overall odds of winning a Lotto prize are 1 in 39.3. Odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 7.1 million.

Lotto drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10:38 PM and televised on WCCT-TV. On drawing nights, wagering closes at 10:20 PM and reopens at 10:46 PM.
