Lucky for Life Draw Game Delivers Two “For Life” Prize-Winning Tickets in Rocky Hill and MysticDecember 7, 2022 – Tuesday night’s “Lucky for Life” drawing delivered two highly coveted “For Life” prize winners in Connecticut – one $365,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE winner, and one $25,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE winner! This is the first time since it debuted as a multistate game in January 2015 that Connecticut has had a top-prize and second-prize winner in the same drawing, and only the second time that Lucky for Life’s top prize was won in Connecticut. The game’s second prize has been now been won 47 times in Connecticut.

The winning Lucky for Life numbers drawn on December 6, 2022, were 11 - 16 - 22 - 31 - 42, Lucky Ball number 18. There were 4,877 winning tickets sold in Connecticut for last night’s drawing. Winners for the December 6, 2022, Lucky for Life drawing have until Sunday, June 4, 2023, to claim their prize before their ticket expires. 

The top-prize winning ticket was sold at Road Runners (2204 Silas Deane Hwy., Rocky Hill), and matched the first five numbers drawn, plus the Lucky Ball, for the game’s top prize worth $365,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE. Road Runners will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of the winning ticket. The second ticket, which matched the first five numbers drawn, was sold at Henny Penny Mystic 25, located at 2 Roosevelt Ave., Mystic, for the game’s second prize worth $25,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE. Henny Penny Mystic 25 will receive a $2,500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

“For Life” prizes are payable for the length of a winner’s natural life. At minimum, 20 years’ worth of payments are guaranteed, although payments could last much longer, based on the lifespan of the winner.

If the annuity prize option is chosen, the minimum guaranteed amount the Lucky for Life top prize winner could receive is $7,300,000. The top prize “Cash Option” is worth $5,750,000. The minimum guaranteed amount the Lucky for Life second prize winner could receive if the annuity prize option is chosen is $500,000. The second prize “Cash Option” is worth $390,000.

Lucky for Life drawings occur every night at approximately 10:30 PM, and tickets cost $2 each. The overall odds of winning a Lucky for Life prize are 1 in 7.8.  Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 30,821,472, and the odds of winning the second prize are 1 in 1,813,028.
