The CT Lottery is committed to the responsible sale and play of its games. Unfortunately, there are dishonest individuals and groups who make their living by operating scams designed to trick people into thinking they’ve won a Lottery prize. Their goal is to convince victims to provide personal information or pay fake "processing fees" and “taxes” through a wire transfer or money order.  Unless you specifically entered a CT Lottery promotion, you will never be contacted by the CT Lottery informing you that you have won a prize. If you did not purchase a Lottery ticket, or entered a CT Lottery 2nd Chance drawing, you cannot win a prize.

We will be happy to verify that your ticket was paid properly.  In order to do so, please email us the name and address of the Retailer, along with the date and approximate time of your ticket transaction.  Please be sure to include any other information or details about the transaction that may be helpful.  Upon receipt of your email and its review, we will be right back in touch with you with our findings.
Please send photos (front and back) of your ticket to Lottery headquarters for review.  If your ticket is a scratch ticket, please be sure that the latex is completely scratched off the face of the ticket before taking a photo and sending to us.
Yes. Lottery drawings are open to the public for viewing. If you are interested in attending a mid-day or nightly drawing to observe the drawing process, please contact us at least 24 hours before the drawing, and we will make Security arrangements for you to attend.

When making a Lottery purchase, it is important to check your tickets carefully before leaving the Lottery terminal to make sure the tickets received are correct. If an error is discovered at the time of purchase, speak to the Retailer immediately.
